Dr. Samuelson provides services to all age groups but prefers mostly child, adolescent and family clinical-mental health needs.  His areas of expertise are in psychological assessment, testing, clinical evaluation and treatment.  He has a special interest in neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive problems which include individuals on the Autism Spectrum Disorder Continuum, Verbal Learning Disorders and Nonverbal Learning Disorders.  Another area of interest is psychologcal testing used for assessing cognitive ability, personality, emotional functioning and style.  Throughout his practice, Dr. Samuelson focuses with clients on family support, psychoeducational counseling and treatment for related family members, as well as on increasing functional ability, enhancing personal growth and strengthening relationships.
